Ways to Give Now

  • Online giving is easy and it provides you with options on how you’d like to support the EHF, whether you want to make a one-time donation or recurring donations (monthly, quarterly, etc.). You may also be interested in a Tribute or Memorial donation to celebrate or honor a loved one.

Donate now via the online form or,

Credit card donation by phone: Office: 920-854-9688

  • An outright donation by check is a common way to support the EHF’s mission. Send a personal check, Donor Advised Fund or Family Foundation check made payable to the EHF to:

    Legal Name: Ephraim Historical Foundation

Address: PO Box 165, Ephraim, WI 54211

    Federal Tax ID Number: 39-6075684

  • Donor Advised Funds and Family Foundations can make a significant impact for the EHF. Simply recommend a grant, or recurring grants, to help us continue to share and preserve Ephraim’s history.

  • Support the EHF with this unique opportunity if you are 70 1/2 years old or older. Take advantage of a simple way to benefit the EHF and receive tax benefits in return through the IRA Charitable Rollover. You can gift any amount up to $100,000 per year from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as VISTE without having to pay income taxes on the money. This popular gift option is commonly called the IRA Charitable Rollover, but is also referred to as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), AND it counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) now beginning at age 73.

  • Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to the EHF. By donating stock that has appreciated for more than a year, you are actually giving 20 percent more than if you sold the stock and then made a cash donation. The reason is simple: avoiding capital gains taxes. Another tax-savvy consideration is to donate some of your appreciated shares and then buy new shares to reset your cost basis at the current, higher price. This will reduce your future capital gains tax exposure if the stock continues to grow in value.

  • Double or even triple the impact of your gift to the EHF!

Your company may be one of thousands that match employee contributions to charitable nonprofit organizations. If you or your spouse is employed by a matching gift company, the impact of your contribution to the EHF could be significantly increased by their match. Simply contact your employer's human resources office and ask whether your company matches employee donations. Let us know that you’ve submitted the match and we’ll let you know once it’s received.
