Join Wisconsin Sea Grant’s Anne Moser to dive deep into Lake Michigan’s ill-fated vessel, the Silver Lake. It departed from Eagle Harbor in Ephraim and was traveling to Racine when tragedy struck. We will transform into marine archeologists and explore the tragic story of the scow schooner. Sea shanties and shipwreck art included! This program is perfect for families and especially for kids ages 4 and up.

Free and open to the public. COVID safety protocol includes socially distanced seating, air filtration system. Protocol subject to change based on health and safety concerns of the current situation.

Anne Moser has been senior special librarian and education coordinator for Wisconsin Sea Grant since 2008. As an outreach librarian, she manages the print and digital collections of the Wisconsin Water Library at the UW Madison and specializes in bringing Great Lakes literacy to all ages throughout Wisconsin.
