Samantha Gray, Volunteer & Membership Coordinator

Samantha is a Door County native, hailing from Baileys Harbor. Spending her formative years growing up on a dairy farm brought her a deep appreciation of Door County’s heritage and natural beauty.

After graduating from Gibraltar High School, Samantha studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts. During university, Samantha worked as the assistant to the Curator of Education at the Chazen Museum of Art.

Samantha’s love for travel and adventure then led her to South Korea where she worked as an educator for several years. Enjoying the lifestyle and the fast pace of big cities then led her to Shanghai, China, where she continued to teach for another five years.

After traveling to twenty-six countries spanning four continents, Samantha decided to return to the place she enjoys the most in the world, Door County.
